Guys, if a comet would kill us all why aren't we doing anything? EXACTLY! There is no comet, an asteroid has 1-3000 chance of hitting us in 2031. I think but that's low chances, we may get hit by a solar storm, but all that will happen is some bright auroras and black outs. I'm atheist so I'm not into god stuff but there is no proof the world will end soon.

Excellent, another unbeliever. The more of us there are, the higher the chance is that some of the really hardcore believers, the ones who are planning to go and live in a mountain in 2012, might start to doubt themselves.

Hi, I just wanted to say something. Earth has had several hits in the past resulting in mass extinction, fact. We are according to your scientists overdue a hit and moving into a section of universe littered with left over debris and Guess what it's the same place all the other hits occurred, fact. And when you check this info out you will find out some other disturbing facts, so you must admit one day a hit will occur [or as i believe an asteroid passing so close it will drag everything with it but that's my opinion and not a fact yet by then it will be all over ]. So whatever you think a mass extinction will happen. It's inevitable, as for gods as everybody knows them as written in books, I am sorry I no longer believe. Yet, I believe they were created by something we may regard as god.

Well, I've read a lot of material on this site and so much of it is just plan BS, someone or a lot of of the authors need to do a lot more research.

When I read the one on the core needs the crude oil to burn so that the earth's orbit won't decay and the earth will fall into the sun, well that one was the best one yet. The author of that article obviously missed a lot of high school classes and/or never took physics 101. I seem to remember public school covers a lot of the material this author has totally missed.

Now the Mayans were an advanced civilization who were thought to have been wiped out by the Spanish for their gold. Again there is no evidence to support that they were from another planet.

I found this site entertaining and that would be loosely phrasing it as entertaining. It was humorous to see what some people actually thought of some subjects. Such as time speeding up or slowing down, this one was interesting even though I have read the actual reasons for the sense of a change in time. Even Albert Einstein would have rolled over in his grave if he had heard some of the explanations. When we are young we have only experienced a small portion of time so time feels like it takes forever, but when we get older we have lived and experienced more so time feels like it is flying by. But in fact the only place where time can be altered is at the event horizon of a black hole, where the gravitational forces are so strong it actually distorts time and the fabric of space it's self.

What shocks me the most while reading the material on this site, is the fact that so much of the material can be researched so easily on the Internet today. There is no reason for anyone to displaying such ignorance when all it takes is the hunger to know the truth.

I will say I did enjoy the humor of the site thought.

You think that's bad - there's a guy running around somewhere who claims that Atlantis is about to rise out of the sea.

You're forgetting that also according to general relativity, time also changes according to what speed you are moving at (compared to lightspeed).

it's not about a comet in 2012, it's about the the aligned stars for the first time in 26000 yrs which is based on science.........and that comet passes in 2036.

Your response is the same as in the time of Noah. No one had ever seen rain so they did not know what it was until it started. They began to call on Noah to let them in but it was too late. The Word of God says "As in the days of Noah shall the coming of the Son of Man Shall be. They were all drinking and marrying and giving in marriage until the flood came and swept them away" You can believe what you want to. You have a free will. You may not believe in God but that does not make him go away. Neither does it make His word have no effect. I pray for you because you are blinded by the God of this world.
