Everybody listen good news the EOTW is not coming like all of those people who predict things one has come saying that the End is not coming what's coming is a new Era she says:A new Era is coming,better things will happen,men will get along better,The War In Iraq will come to an end,there will be more medicine,cures for cancer,diabetes,etc will be found.And that's all what will happen so we don't have to worry anymore post a reply and tell me what you think.

well...the world as we know it is indeed a finite system but ending soon as in a few years from now? No, I dont think so either. History will show that almost every year there are those who say, "This is the year...etc..." so it comes as no surprise to hear this again especially in the current tumult. New era? Sure! Better times? Sure!

Well, the EOTW is not coming very soon, and I hope all that other good stuff happens, too.

The EOTW is coming eventually, as the Sun will eventually exhaust its hydrogen supply and become unstable. The End. And the history of the planet suggests that our species isn't very likely to survive to the solar deadline.

But we don't have any evidence to suggest that the world will end any sooner than that. There is not a single comet or asteroid or Planet Mysterio that we know today is on its way. Such an event could happen, but it's not on the radar yet. Well, except around here.

Hereabouts you find scare-bots who think the proclamations of ancient priests, and prophecies found in the bloody guts of human sacrifices, are more reliable than a global network of telescopes or a legion of scientists.

The EOTW, whenever it comes, will be witnessed by a tiny fraction of people who have lived and died throughout history. I find it telling when someone supposes that his life is so special as to put him in that select group.

Thank you for the words of good news. I suffer from excessive fears and after seeing the end is coming on the History Channel I have worried and feared that my kids will never grow up. This may sound crazy but, I have a condition.

I would like to point out that there are many times in history that people believed the end was coming. They gave away everything they owned and some even killed themselves out of fear.
For those who believe in the Bible it says the time is not known to man.
Some people are hard headed, like the Seventh Day Adventists. They believed the end was coming in the 1800's. They knew the exact date. It was complete mayhem for those who believed it. But as we know that day came and went. Many years later they reformed the church and came up with a prediction.
In the 70's everyone feared the 80's would be the end. Then the 90's and remember the panic of 2000. Back then they all had figured out different dates that Nostradamus was saying was the end.
I read the quatrains and found many warnings but no actual predictions of an End. Many of the warnings of dire things to come have already past.
The Hopi Indians said there is a point around the date of 2012 when we can go one way or another but that it is not too late to do something if people in the world make the right choices.
As far as Obam being the anti christ, he doesn't really fit the description. One clue was that he would arrive as a guest from the middle east wearing a blue turbin (not sure of spelling).
The main point is so far we have survived all the dire predictions. Plus we all have to die one day of something. So if you all want to waste the time you have on worry and fear, that is up to you.

Yep - the future is what we make of it - i think humans are closer now than ever to realizing how their minds work. All the survival traits that made us successful as a species and got us to where we are now need to be re-evaluated. Cause now we have something no other creature can wield - knowledge. If we steer ourselves straight - leave behind our petty squabbles over land and resources, watch our populations, learn to live in a sustainable manner - who knows what amazing things humans might one day be capable of! Quite proberly death may even become a thing of the past one day...

i dont believe we r coming to an end but like the idea that a new era is near. here r somethings that i found on the web that r suppost to happen but not all are positive like what the lady sad, some of these r really and some negative, and other riddle that r yet to be uncovered like one is that the works of James Joyce (an Irish novelist, now dead i think...) will enter the public domai, what does that mean?? or that the 1940 U.S. Census will be released to the public. And that the U.S. will cede control of the military Republic of Korea after 50 years of control. But negative on is that the second largest nar earth object 433 Eros is expected to pass earth by a near miss! and then it says and near eather object(possibly 433 eros) is going to hit earth! none of these r really good, more bad and riddle like not good i fear...
