comet that hit Jupiter the other day. It's almost like the media doesn't even want to mention it. I went to
http://space.com and it's not even listed in the top 10 stories. What the heck? They said the size of the impact crater was as big as Europe.
I don't know about anyone else but I heard about it. And we don't know for sure if it was a
comet. It's an assumption since
comets pass by Jupiter more than
asteroids. But based on the size of the "bruise" in the clouds, the object was reportedly the size of two football fields. And since Jupiter has no solid surface, there is no impact crater
I don't like the idea that Jupiter has now been hit twice in 15 years. Are
aliens keeping us safe? I really am beginning to wonder if they stop things from hitting our little blue planet.
Actually, I do like the idea that Jupiter has been hit twice now. Because that's two less objects that the Earth has to worry about. And you shouldn't be wondering if
aliens are keeping our planet safe, because they're not. But you should be thankful Jupiter is!
By the way, there is a video about a scientist who believes an
alien sacrificed him/her/it's self to blow up the
comet in Tunguska in 1908.
With all due respect to this so-called scientist, no
alien was required to blow up the Tunguska meteor (not a
comet). It was simple physics, nothing more. What I find unbelievable is this so-called scientist talks about an object shooting up to intercept the meteor yet there were no witnesses to the event. He then produces a piece of something which he claims is from the
alien spacecraft. Well, it looks like a piece of rock to me. Besides, over the past 100 years many have combed through this site and have never found any evidence such as this guy is talking about. Heck, they can barely find pieces of the meteor, never mind a non-existent
alien space craft!
Amazing..... the things people say and do for a little publicity.
