2012 Predictions

    2012 Predictions



    The 2012 Predictions are many and this list contains a brief overview of the 13 main ones:



    1) Nostradamus - Nostradamus was a French prophet that published a book called "The Prophecies" in 1555. His future predictions were hidden in quatrains which make them difficult to interpret. He has indicated that there will be a third world war around this time in history. But, he also stated that the world would not end until the year 3000+. However; Nostradamus states in Quatrain 46: In the sky will be seen a fire, dragging a trail of sparks. This seems to indicate that he had a vision of a future event involving a comet. Nostradamus described the destruction of the “New City” in 1999 by flying machines. Was he only a couple years off from predicting 911? While Nostradamus is well known for all of his predictions, we feel that some of the quatrains are a real stretch. Especially the drawings that were recently presented on the History Channel. If you watch the program about the "Lost Book of Nostradamus" you will see the interpretations of these drawings are wild and difficult to believe. Nostradamus was so vague, that most of his writings could have meant numerous things.



    2) Edgar Cayce - By far he is the most famous prophet of the 20th century. He would go into a trance and talk in detail about how to cure illnesses and about future events. He was an amazing person and I would love to spend more time reviewing his predictions. He indicated that people would have the chance to move to a higher consciousness in 2012. Cayce was not well educated and provided amazing information in areas he knew nothing about.



    3) Hopi Indians - The Hopi Indians have a list of items that must occur before the end of the world comes. According to many people this list is either completed or almost complete. 2012 again seems to be the date that the Hopi Indians feel our time on earth will end. The Hopi Indians have religious traditions and beliefs that go back to the beginning of mankind. According to the Hopi man has taken the wrong path, but it is possible the outcome could be a good one. The I Ching which is a little mysterious like the Hopi also seems to indicate that 2012 could be a bad year.



    4) Web bot - A computer program that has scanned the Internet and determined that 2012 is the end of the world. The idea that a spider (web robot) can search through Internet text information and conclude that something bad is going to happen in 2012 is completely ridiculous. Any type of web spider or robot that scams the Internet is going to find a ton of information about the year 2012. That is all this web bot is finding and to conclude that it’s an oracle of some kind is ridiculous. We really feel that the web bot wins the award of the biggest 2012 Hoax Prediction out there.



    5) Mayans - The Dresden Codex was used to interpret the Mayan Calendar end date. Did the Mayans predict that a great flood will cause the end of the world on December 21, 2012? Some people argue that the Mayans only meant there would be a change in consciousness and the Mayan Calendar will just start over again. The Mayan calendar ends on 12/21/2012 or in some European countries that would be written out as 21/12/2012. The Mayans were a scary group of people and there is not doubt that this end date worries us. According to “interpretations” they received their information from an outside source. (UFO or Alien). The Kukulcan (as he was called) provided the Mayans with their astronomical information. Who was this guy? The Mayans described him as a tall white man who came from the sea. Some people argue that the Mayans were only predicting the end of one cycle and the beginning of a new one. The Mayans 5th BaKtun ends on December 21, 2012 which also marks the 26,000 year planetary galactic alignment. The idea is that there will be an increased gravitational pull associated with the great galactic alignment on December 21, 2012. Some people speculate that this alignment will cause a tremendous amount of damage in the form of earthquakes and huge tsunamis. It seems that the earth's crust is becoming more unstable. If a huge gravitational pull is associated with this alignment it is very possible that a series of big earthquakes will occur. This might be the straw that breaks the camels back for the ring of fire and cause the great flood the Mayans describe. The Mayans flood would come suddenly after the melting of the polar caps, almost like a hyper-global warming effect. This water could be spread out around the world in the form of great storms with mile high tsunamis. If one or more super volcanoes were to also erupt (Yellowstone) this would cause a cascading effect of worldwide disasters. A Tsunami has the ability destroy everything in its path within seconds. The Tsunami that hit Japan in 2011 demonstrated this unstoppable force of nature. The Mayans must have realized that the massive amount of water spread around the world would be the Real Killer.



    6) 2012 Comet - This 2012 prediction states that a comet or group of comets will strike the earth in the year 2012. The predictions themselves come directly from the Bible Codes which seem to have made some correct predictions in the past. Nostradamus also talks directly about a coming comet in Quatrain 46: In the sky will be seen a fire, dragging a trail of sparks. The Bible Codes were Discovered by a computer in the 20th century. Sir Isaac Newton was convinced of their existence and spent a lot of his life searching for them. The codes use letter sequence skipping to locate future predictions within a small grid area. The codes are only found in the torah and appear to be credible.



    7) Nibiru - There are many people who feel there is another planet or dying sun in our universe. This planet is also said to be the home of the Sumerians. This story gets even more complicated because the Sumerians are said to have come to our planet thousands of years ago and mated with us. We were their slaves and used to mine gold for them. But, they found our females irresistible and mated with them before leaving. This created humans as we know them today. This also could answer the age old problem with human evolution from monkeys. What makes this more interesting is if you watch the movie called "The Fourth Kind". This alien abduction movie is based on a true story where Sumerian aliens abduct people. Yes, you must watch it when you have a chance!



    8) Galactic Alignment - This occurs once every 26,000 years and will occur again on December 21, 2012. Some people speculate that this alignment will cause a tremendous amount of damage in the form of earthquakes and huge tsunamis. This alignment occurs on the Mayan doomsday date.



    9) Solar Flare - The sun goes through 11-year cycles of peak activity. 2012 has been stated to be a dozy when it comes to solar flares in the year 2012. Solar Flares have the ability to severely damage power grids around the world. Lights out! Without the sun, the earth would be a frozen dead planet. The sun gives us life, but it can also take it away. A super flare or solar flare could burn away earths atmosphere and take down our protection for NEOs or worse. The dinosaurs died when a large asteroid hit the earth millions of years ago. Could a solar flare have taken down the shields for the dinos?



    10) Nuclear War - With all of the unrest in the middle east it seems easy to imagine that World War III could break out in 2012. More and more countries are obtaining nuclear weapons and there is only a matter of time before someone pushes the launch button. Who will start World War 3? United States, Russia, Iran or Israel? As the economies around the world continue to decline riots have began to break out and regime changes have come quickly. Will there be a world-wide economic collapse in the future? Greece seems to be of the verge of default and could start the collapse of the European Union (Euro). This instability combined with nuclear weapons could be a recipe for disaster.



    11) Pandemic - There is always the possibility that a new super virus could strike the world in 2012. Plagues have occurred in the past and will occur again. You should watch the latest Hollywood movie called: Contagion



    12) Polar Shift - these have occurred in the past and could occur again. Animals have been found frozen with tropical plants in their stomachs. The only possible cause would have been a sudden shifting of the poles. Did the Mayans predict a pole shift on December 21, 2012?



    13) Black holes - They seem to destroy everything in their path. The gravitational pull from these monsters is extreme. Scientists have confirmed that there is a black hole in the center of the milky way galaxy.
